Earthlink webmail is down

Well it's Earth Day and Earthlink is down...
Well if you are an Earthlink user here is all I have to say to you:

Change service! Call up your LOCAL cable and phone companies and find out how much their internet costs and what packages you can get if you currently use those companies. Compare their projected speeds as well. Also, you do not and (in my opinion) SHOULD NOT use their software! You want internet? Use IE or Firefox or something. Email? Use Outlook or Thunderbird! These are free PLUS you don't waste time logging in. And in my experience they are much more useful and efficient. Some examples of what you are wasting your time with: MSN, AOL, etc. If you use these you are wasting time as well as other things.

It blows me away at people that need some kind of software to access the damn internet!
If you have broadband, you are ALREADY connected!!

Spongebob vs the Big One (Johnny Depp)

This episode of spongebob premiered today adding a surfer + eastern guru mystic theme. The crew is trying to get back to bikini bottom and "JKL" (voiced by Johnny Depp) is found to guide them in their quest. JKL acts much like an eastern guru with lines like "just keep breating" and "I did not teach you anything you didn't already know." Pretty good episode I would say as I am a fan of the series although I thought I watched just about every episode a year or two ago. Anyway my favorite line was:

Squidward: HEYYYY Blondie! Teach me how to surf so I can go home, or I'm gonna...
JKL (Depp): You obviously didn't stare into the fire all night like your friends over there. (shows spongebob and patrick passed out) Those dudes....are gonna make...AWESOME....surfers.

BP MS 150 Houston Day one Cancelled

The first day of the famous MS 150 Houston charity bike ride has been canceled due to heavy storms. Even though the event has already raised 12 million the disappointed riders spirit inclines them to hang out and stick it out for the next day. Of course the crowd will still bring in the mass amount of consumerism in the area.

This now falls on the local entertainment field etc. To make up for the downed moods. Could be an excellent opportunity to make the area shine.

Keep the C02 pumping spirit alive! HAhahaha...

John Madden to retire, Cris Collinsworth to replace.

John Madden announced his retirement today, and Cris Collinsworth (left) is on track to replace him. A lot of people are let down about this. However, you have to realize that Madden is a legend...how are you going to fill those shoes?

Without Madden's sharp analysis, vocabulary and of course his familiar voice, I'm sure fans are going to be quite disappointed. Well, Michael Jordan retired eventually so if you were a big fan of him... this is just another one of those stories.

Madden was given an offer to continue but Madden turned it down. You gotta let the man do his thing, I mean he just turned 73 people. The average american life expectancy is around 78 or so, you do the math.

Anyway you still have those football video games with his voice on them...maybe they will go up in value.

Naltrexone and Kleptomania

The drug Naltrexone now helps fight kleptomania. Kleptomania is distinguished from shoplifting and thievery as those two are generally related to monetary value and especially premeditation and planning (not that I am teaching you how to steal.) Anyway Kleptomania involves less thinking and more compulsion so it could be similar to OCD (obsessive-compulsive Disorder) and usually not contemplating what the value of what is stolen.

Well if you are going to treat the kleptomania, I would recommend filling in the void that the lack of stealing would create in the person's chemical boost/addiction.

Jamie Foxx and Miley Cyrus

Apparently this is some "big" stuff right now that Jamie Foxx, a comedian (read that, COMEDIAN) has said some "insulting" stuff about Miley Cyrus.

First off I'd like to say if you are Famous or a Star you attract opinions. Not all opinions are going to be positive. So if you are flippin out about either of these people... are you one of their homies / immediate family? Think about this. What's the big deal?

Comedians do this stuff all the time...and like I said stars attact opinions so basically this is a comedic opinion. You could interpret it as Cyrus hasn't made all the typical accomplishments that her crowd has made yet. Haha... Anyway here's some advice- move on!
